Have you had a Fresh! Encounter today? Did you know that every new encounter, even those with folks you know, allow you an opportunity to become closer to yourself.

Fresh! Encounters allow us to forgive, learn and move forward. Fresh! Encounters allow us to see the world and each other in a new light that encourages us to embrace each other, support each other; which in turn will make the world a safer, more loving, more just place for us all.

I am very hopeful. I believe that we Americans are coming to a new awakening. Timing is everything. New technologies are allowing upward and diagonal and not just downward communications. We can now connect with people of like interests from coast to coast and border to border without leaving our homes and in f2f meetings ignited by online communities. Spaces such as this allow us to speak our intentions, dreams, visions, faith and hope in a better world, with others who share such visions.

I truly believe we can all be free, safe, healthy, educated, housed and loved; all to the degree of our needs and desires; without anyone needing to suffer. My mission in life is to hold on to that belief, share it with as many people as possible, and find my role in making this a reality for who seek true happiness.

For the past 5 years, I’ve been supporting small non-profits with attaining and sustaining technology through a job that will end on 12/31 of this year. I am an in-active school volunteer for 4th and 5th graders; helping with homework, chaperoning on trips, and anywhere else teachers have needed me. I am an anti-violence volunteer speaker for a group that works to dispel myths about the LGBT communities through dialogue.

I have more sociological pain than I know what to do with, due in a large part to finding myself in a loving relationship which allows intimacy and connection in a way I was sure could never be possible for me. *I know I’m fortunate.*

I have more love than I know what to do with because I can find love and hope in most of all life’s gifts; like breath, air, sky water, flowers, smiles, food, trees, you…

I’m still figuring out who I am and what I’m supposed to be, or maybe I’m learning to accept who I am with gladness and figuring out how to just be.

When I was a child Jesus came to me in dreams while I napped. In my 20s I seriously considered converting to Judaism. By my early 30s Paganism and Shamanism pointed me to Taoism, and now I have all of these beautiful ways of being in the world to pull on, study, and be with when I feel a need to go outside myself; when I can’t seem to access that inner God-Light we have all been granted.

We will heal each other and together the world. Conscious capitalism and social capitalism are the new ways to go. I’m looking forward to hearing what valued-based-economics means to everyone.

    Peace, Love, Health and Comfort,

    Fresh!

    Hey Fresh!
I love your blog — it’s really great! It made me really happy reading it. I believe totally that we’re at an unprecedented turning point for good on the planet. I’m very interested to hear more about what “value based economics,” means to others, as that is how I’ve always thought and lived — people before profits, you know! I know you’ll make it to the forum and hope that it will be a totally inspiring and life changing experience for you. I didn’t see a place to donate on the site, but will be sending you a little sumptin’.
    peace & blessings!

These words made me think of you.

“Nonviolence means avoiding not only external physical violence but also internal violence of spirit. You not only refuse to shoot a man, but you refuse to hate him.”

-Martin Luther King, Jr., civil-rights leader (1929-196 8)
